Big Library Read: The One E-book Everyone is Reading

Four Corners of the Sky by Michael MaloneNot to be confused with The Big Read, the Big Library Read is an initiative by Overdrive (the company behind Media On Demand) to have one book available to readers at all participating libraries to create a global library book club. The book they've chosen is The Four Corners of the Sky by Michael Malone. You can get the e-book from Media On Demand. We have unlimited copies available as a Kindle book, Adobe epub, Adobe PDF, and Overdrive Read. The book will be discussed on Overdrive's Facebook and Twitter pages.

In addition to bringing readers together over a book, the Big Library Read will allow us to see how many people are checking out the book and then sharing it on social media and buying it. This information (anonymous, of course) can be used to show publishers that library readers are book buyers and possibly lead to more publishers allowing libraries to access their e-books.
